Dixon Community Theater is proud to announce our upcoming spring musical production, Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella!
Cinderella is presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization.
Lydia Smith (Director) is thrilled to be making her Greater Sacramento directorial debut with Dixon Community Theater! With nearly a decade of combined experience in performing, producing, and directing, Lydia has been involved in various levels of community theatre in Sacramento, Los Angeles, and even Rome, Italy. Her first full length directorial role was a university production of Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. She has also produced several operas (The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Barber of Seville, Rigoletto, Die Fledermaus) and recently joined The Fourth Wall Community Theatre as part of their Creative Team.
An avid performer, she has been seen on the stages of: Woodland Opera House, Winters Theatre Company, Davis Musical Theatre Company, and The Fourth Wall Theatre Company. Favorite roles include: Jerusha in Daddy Long Legs, Alice Heminges in The Book of Will, Jacqueline De Severac in Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, Grace Farrell in Annie, Louise Bigelow in Carousel, Tuptim in The King and I, Agnes Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis, Barbara Amory in Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee, and Mademoiselle Silverpeal in Mozart’s opera Der Schauspieldirektor (The Impresario). In March 2026, she will portray Margaret “Mags” Church in Painting Churches at The Fourth Wall Theatre Company, directed by Cheryl Watson. Lydia is excited to bring the “impossible” magic of Cinderella to life in Dixon and looks forward to working with a talented, fun, and whimsical cast! Amanda Bistolfo
Amanda Bistolfo is delighted to be joining her first Dixon Community Theater production after recently music directing A Christmas Carol at Woodland Opera House. Amanda has music directed high school productions of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Addams Family, conducted the pit orchestra of Les Misérables–School Version, and directed many, many choir concerts. After directing high school choirs for eight years, Amanda made the switch to a “normal” job in insurance administration and teaches voice lessons on the weekends. Onstage appearances in the greater Sacramento area include Cassie in A Chorus Line at Rocklin Community Theater, Hodel and Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof at Lincoln Community Theater, and the ensembles of Something Rotten! and Legally Blonde at Woodland Opera House. Amanda holds a California Teaching Credential, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting, a Master’s degree in Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a minor in Theatre Arts.

Jordan Ledbetter (Sound Designer) is looking forward to working alongside a new team for Cinderella!
