summer cabaret - the good, the bad, & The broadway

Alex Chaseford returns to the Dixon stage. You may remember him as Prince Topher from DCT's spring production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Alex began performing at the age of 12 when he was cast as Friedrich von Trapp in The Sound of Music. Since then, he has appeared in numerous community and professional productions, among his favorites are playing the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Marius in Les Misérables, and Maximillian in Candide. Alex has also lent his voice to various Disney projects over the years. Playing Prince Topher has been a lifelong dream; at just seven years old he watched Paolo Montalban perform the role opposite Brandy and was instantly inspired. Being able to bring this character to life now is both surreal and deeply meaningful. Alex would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support, especially his wife, and the wonderful team at Dixon Community Theater. 

Chris Cay Stewart is a longtime theatrical performer who recently concluded her run as Norma Desmond, the tragic, grandiose former queen of the silent screen plotting an impossible return to the movies. Chris last performed on our stage during DCT's holiday production of Dixon's Great Big Little Christmas Show. We are honored and excited to welcome Chris Cay Stewart back to Dixon for our summer cabaret.

Spencer Alexander thanks the Dixon Community Theatre for producing The Good, The Bad, and the Broadway cabaret show. Spencer is very well-known at the Woodland Opera House and has performed in numerous productions such as The Crucible, The Book of Will, Young Frankenstein, and Little Shop of Horrors.

Jean Thompson is excited to join the Dixon Cabaret! Previous credits include Romeo and Juliet, Sister Act, 42nd Street, 12 Angry Jurors, Seussical the Musical, Something Rotten, Sweeney Todd, Tony & Tina’s Wedding, Madagascar, and The Producers. She also sings with The Merrie Old Christmas Carolers. 

Rodney Chaney is an accomplished vocal artist who most recently has starred as Lord Pinkleton in Dixon Community Theater's Cinderella, as well as many fabulous shows at the Woodland Opera House, including A Christmas Carol where his portrayal of The Ghost of Christmas present left everyone tapping their feet and filled with the Christmas spirit. Dixon Community Theater is thrilled to have Rodney back on the Dixon stage!

Cassie has performed in many theatres around the greater Sacramento area. Her favorite role to date is Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde at Davis Musical Theatre Company. She is a performance arts coach at Dream Theatre Inc. in Roseville CA by day and enjoys performing in cabarets of all kinds! 

Stevie is so excited to be a part of this show. He recently has taken on a variety of roles with Dixon Community Theater and is currently serving as Stage Manager for the upcoming youth production of The Addams Family young@part, and he is preparing to direct his first production in Dixon, Bah Humbug, on the Dixon stage in December. Theater is his passion and you may have seen him recently in Cinderella with DCT, Legally Blonde the Musical at DMTC or Sunset Blvd at DMTC. He would like to dedicate this performance to those trying to get their foot in the door of the theatre world. If anyone can do it, it's you. Don't give up. 

Kalysta Fuller is pleased to return to Dixon Community Theater after singing in the Villains Cabaret! Her next role is Grandma in Addams Family on this stage! Most recently, Kalysta performed as Ensemble/Harem Dancer in Sunset Boulevard at DMTC and as Fate 3 in Hadestown: Teen Edition at The Stage Place Community Performing Arts. They have also performed frequently at Woodland Opera House and DMTC, including roles such as Amanda Thripp in Matilda Jr., the All Good Gifts Dancer in Godspell Jr., a Snow Dancer in Frozen Jr., and Greta in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Kalysta attends Natomas Performing and Fine Arts Academy. When not performing—which is almost never—they enjoy singing, dancing, and creating art. 

John Evans is another alumnus of both Dixon Community Theater and the iconic Woodland Opera House. He recently played Sebastian in Cinderella on the Dixon stage and performed "Christmas Together" at WOH in their holiday production of A Christmas Carol. His performances received rave reviews, and John will no doubt find equal applause again from the Dixon audiences when he returns for The Good, The Bad, and The Broadway!

You may recognize Caroline as the "yellow" stepsister from DCT's spring musical production of Cinderella. She left audiences in stitches, and we are excited to have Caroline's comedic theatrical presence back on the Dixon stage. 

Anna Butcher is a passionate performer who has been on stage since she was a child. From dance and singing to acting, Anna has always loved bringing stories to life through performance. She has performed both on land and on ice, embracing every opportunity to express herself creatively. Originally from West Virginia, Anna continues to grow as an artist while pursuing her love for the performing arts. She hopes to continue her journey in dance and acting throughout college and beyond. She is very excited to be a part of this production and share the magic with you! 

Angi Wolf is an amazingly talented singer who has been on the Dixon stage many times. Most recently she appeared in Villains and Dixon's Great Big Little Christmas Show and before that she starred as the unforgettable Queen of Hearts in Alice's Wonderland. Angi also dedicates her time and shares her musical talents through her position as the DCT youth theater vocal coach.  We are thrilled to have her back again in The Good. The Bad, and The Broadway.

Linda inherited her musical genes from her mother and has been singing ever since elementary school.  Songs from the 1930’s and 1940’s, along with international folk songs and some classical pieces are among her favorites.  Dixon Community Theater is delighted to have Linda perform again with us in this cabaret. 

Rachel Davidson spent her childhood in Napa where she participated in vocal lessons and performed in a variety of concerts and musical theater productions such as Peter Pan, Big River, Annie and Anne of Green Gables to name a few.

After a brief sojourn in the Pensacola Florida area, Rachel has returned to California and has made Vacaville her home. Most recently, Rachel portrayed The Fairy Godmother in Dixon Community Theatre’s rendition of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

Kaitlyn is so excited to be performing in this Cabaret! Recently she decided to join the artistic team for Addam’s Family! Kaitlyn is a board-certified music therapist, music teacher, director, and performer working in the Greater Sacramento area.  

Josiah Johns is a passionate performer who enjoys being on stage. He recently appeared in Dixon Community Theater's production of Cinderella and he is preparing to take our stage again in a lead role, when he appears as Gomez Addams in Dixon Community Youth Theater's October production of the Addams Family young@part.

Molly Ryle is an accomplished performer credited with too many shows to list! Most recently she appeared in Dixon's Cinderella and we are thrilled to have her return for our summer cabaret.
